We would like to share with you the pathway of the programme ”I Choose to Teach!” over the last year
Despite all the hardships faced in 2020, I Choose to Teach team is continuously striving to bring about positive changes into the Lithuanian educational system to enable every student to uncover his or her full potential. We would like to share with you the pathway taken by the programme ”I Choose to Teach!” over the course of the last year.
I choose to Teach for school change!
There are 60 schools from all across Lithuania which have already joined the programme I choose to Teach and have implemented or are implementing projects for change at their schools. School communities are seeking not only to apply innovative teaching methods or improve appraisal of individual progress of students, but also to reinforce the communication and cooperation culture at school.
In 2020 another 16 schools from Lithuania joined the programme and helped to carry out projects for change. One of such schools joining recently is Vilnius Šilas special needs school, which sets a perfect example of what it takes to achieve any major change in education, i.e. willingness to change and ability to notice new possibilities.
